Step 3: Entering Players Adding Players to Vital Stats is simple and quick. There are four menu items located in the top Tool bar which control all aspects of player editing. To add a player, click on Players in the Side Toolbar. You will be presented with an empty list of players. The first time you enter this screen. To enter a player name and player number, click your mouse cursor in the Player text box as per diagram below:  Type in your players name and then either hit Tab on your keyboard, or click your mouse cursor in the text box labelled Number. Once the player's name and number has been entered, hit Tab on your keyboard, or click on Add in the Top Tool Bar - this will start a new player line, but will also commit the player information that you have just entered. Repeat this process until you have entered in all the information for your team's list. Once completed, you will need to click on Save located in the Top Tool Bar-this will then save your player list into the program, so that next time you need to use the software, the player list will be available to use. To make changes to the player list, you can click on the player name or number with your mouse cursor which will then select the text ready to be edited. Once edited, click on Save to commit the changes. If you have entered a player name and would like to remove it, select the line and then click on Delete button in the Top Tool Bar. You will be asked if you would like to delete the player. Click Yes. If you have entered a blank line and would like to remove it, select the line and then click on the Cancel button in the Top Tool Bar. Go to Step 4: Entering Opposing Teams
